Halibut Provencale with Tomatoes & Cheese


2 lbs. fresh halibut fillets
garlic powder
paprika
1 can (1 lb.) stewed tomatoes, drained & chopped
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
4 tbsp. parsley, chopped
4 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
8 thin lemon slices
salt and pepper to taste

Arrange fillets in large baking dish.  Sprinkle with spices.  Layer tomatoes, green onion, parsley and cheese evenly over fish. Lay lemon slices on top. Bake at 350 degrees until halibut flakes. Serves six.
